WebP.wiki is a free, browser-based image converter that turns JPEG, PNG, GIF, AVIF, BMP and TIFF images into optimized WebP files — and converts WebP back to other formats — right in your browser. There is no installation, no upload, no queue, and no file-size limit. Everything runs locally on your device.

What Is WebP.wiki? #

WebP.wiki is a free online tool for batch converting and compressing images. Add multiple images at once by drag-and-drop, file selection, or clipboard paste, then convert them all to WebP — or to JPEG, PNG, AVIF and JPEG XL — in a single run. Each image is processed one by one in a batch queue, and the compressed size and savings ratio appear on that row immediately.

What We Offer #

• Real-time feedback — each row shows its own progress bar, then the finished size and savings ratio the moment conversion completes.

How It Works #

1. Add your images — drag and drop files into the upload area, click to browse your device, or paste images from your clipboard.
2. Choose output format and settings — pick WebP, JPEG, PNG, AVIF or JPEG XL, then adjust Quality (1–100) and Compression Level.
3. Start conversion — click "Start conversion". Images are processed one by one, each row showing its own progress bar as it works through the queue.
4. Download your results — use Auto Download, the per-file Download link, or Download All / Download ZIP once the batch completes.

WebP.wiki is private by design. The conversion engine is compiled to WebAssembly and executes inside your browser, so your images never leave your device.

Your files are processed 100% locally. No uploads, no server-side storage, no file-size caps — your images stay on your device.
